Uncertain weather conditions threaten to disrupt the Hungarian GP

After a dry qualifying session that, towards the end, was threatened by a few drops of rain as the sky darkened, the chance of rain during today’s Hungarian GP looks much more likely.

Charles Leclerc will start from pole position ahead of the two McLarens, with Piastri and Norris aiming to challenge the Monegasque for victory.

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will be looking to make up ground, starting from eighth and thirteenth positions respectively.

According to the FIA weather report, the sky should be 'mostly cloudy to overcast with a moderate to high chance of showers up to level 3 and possibly thundery in the morning. Improvement expected in the afternoon with decreasing rain and a clearer sky.'

Currently, the chance of rain stands at 40%, double compared to yesterday.

As for the temperatures, it’s expected to be around 25 degrees at 3 PM, the scheduled start time of the Grand Prix, with a low of 17 degrees.

As for the wind, there should be light to moderate northwesterly wind with gusts up to 30 kph.
