Formula 1 will start at the beginning of July with the Austrian Grand Prix first. Prior to that race, Formula 1 can also bring out some good news, with Liqui Moly as new sponsor.
Liqui Moly is a German brand that focuses on car maintenance. As the new sponsor of Formula 1, they had been involved in the sport for some time, but more on a regional level. In the new contract, Liqui Moly now signs a three-year collaboration with Formula 1 with 11 opportunities where the brand will be seen.

The new collaboration

Ben Picus, director of commercial relations in Formula 1, is very happy with the new sponsor. ''We are happy to announce this new collaboration and the extension only means more the value of F1. We look forward to involving the brand even more in the future of Formula 1'', says the F1 headline in a statement.
Also CEO of Liqui Moly, Ernst Prost, is happy with the new deal. ''The unique audience of Formula 1 is perfect for Liqui Moly to expose the brand and as a premium oil it is a strong signal to be connected to a premium sport. This helps us to be even more in the spotlight'', concludes Prost.
