The British driver was spotted in the paddock on a bike alongside reigning world champion Jorge Martin during the weekend. Norris also took the opportunity to visit not only the Aprilia garage but the Ducati garage as well, where he got a chance to “test” the seating position on the bikes of Francesco Bagnaia and Fabio Di Giannantonio.
The McLaren driver was also seen with two-time MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner, enjoying some time with one of the sport’s legends.
Finally, Norris also had the chance to spend some time with his declared idol, Valentino Rossi, from whom he has drawn inspiration throughout his career, including adopting the iconic yellow helmet.
Antonelli, on the other hand, was seen alongside several Italian riders, including Valentino Rossi, with whom he raced in the GTWC, Marco Bezzecchi, and former multiple world champion Jorge Lorenzo. He was also spotted visiting the Aprilia and Yamaha garages during the weekend.
Verstappen returns to the Nordschleife after obtaining his permit
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen took part last weekend in the seventh round of the NLS (Nordschleife Endurance Series), aiming to obtain the A permit, which allows him to compete in GT3 class races on the historic German circuit and take part in next year’s 24-hour race, a goal he has long declared.
After obtaining the permit, the four-time world champion returned home instead of racing in Sunday’s second race, but the Dutchman is ready to get back on track sooner than expected.
