Formula 1 set to race in Baku

With the Monza weekend behind us, marking the end of the European leg of the season, Formula 1 is ready to hit the track once again — this time in Baku, a circuit famous for its long straight combined with one of the twistiest middle sectors on the calendar.
Charles Leclerc is undoubtedly a specialist at this circuit, having claimed the last four consecutive pole positions, but he has never managed to turn them into a victory.
Last year, the Monegasque lost a hard-fought duel with Oscar Piastri, with the latter ultimately coming out on top to claim the victory.
Another great specialist of this circuit is Sergio Perez, who, of course, will not be participating in this year’s race, but in previous years has consistently delivered strong results—except for the unfortunate retirement in 2024 following contact with Carlos Sainz.
