The F2 feature race in Hungary has just concluded, with championship leader Leonardo Fornaroli edging out teammate Roman Stanek despite a five-seconds penalty issued in the middle of the race. Here are the full results.
The opening lap went smoothly, with the two Invicta drivers holding onto the top two spots—Stanek ahead of championship leader Fornaroli.
Crawford kept third place, closely pursued by Browning. The Hitech driver attempted an overtake on the American at turn 3 but ran wide.
Cordeel suffered an engine failure and was forced to retire on lap 6, prompting the deployment of the Virtual Safety Car (VSC) to safely recover the car.
Martins also encountered technical issues and stopped on lap 10. The French driver halted in the middle of the track, once again bringing out the Virtual Safety Car.

On lap 15, the first pit stops began with race leader Stanek pitting, but the track was still quite wet, making it difficult for drivers to keep their cars on the circuit.
Fornaroli managed to get ahead of his teammate thanks to the pit stop, while Lindblad and Marti remained out on track. Fornaroli, however, receives a five-second time penalty, which allows Stanek to virtually reclaim the lead.
Crawford attempted to challenge Stanek but couldn’t make a decisive move, while Fornaroli managed to build a five-second gap over his teammate, reclaiming the virtual lead of the race.
The chequerecd flag waves as Fornaroli takes a dominant win, with Stanek and Crawford completing the podium.
