Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have crashed into each other once more, causing both McLaren cars to DNF.
With Max Verstappen starting on pole, Piastri got off the line better than Norris and was able to mount an attack on the outside. However, the Dutch and British drivers both went deep so Piastri attempted the switcharoo.
The Aussie driver didn't account for Nico Hulkenberg being there on the inside. When Piastri turned in, Hulkenberg crashed into the Aussie's rear left, who then hit his McLaren teammate Norris.
Both McLaren cars were wiped out in the lap 1 turn 1 crash. Verstappen then led the field unchallenged poised to make a substantial gain on Piastri and Norris in the Drivers' Standings.
