Racing in the rain always separates the men from the boys in Formula 1. In a new video from Formula1.com several drivers explain what it is like to race in the rain.

Racing in the rain

Trying to set the fastest lap with less grip and less visibility; that is the task of the driver on a rainy day, and above all: Keep the car in one piece. The level of difficulty in these conditions is huge, and that's why the best drivers often come out on top. Now those drivers explain how hard it really is.
In the Formula1.com video, Sergio Perez talks about the fact that you can't see anything. The Mexican compares it to driving with your eyes closed. Daniel Ricciardo talks about being one with your car, and the spray coming from the cars in front of you.
