Honda engine goes up in flames during second free practice

Gasly was driving very quietly just before things went wrong, so there really wasn't a big bang. Paul di Resta noted in his coverage for Sky Sports that there was probably a leak in the fuel line. For another explanation, the car caught fire too quickly.

The second free practice session was resumed. At Red Bull Racing, AlphaTauri and Honda this will be done with some concern, as smoke clouds were also seen earlier in the cars of Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon. For the time being, however, there is nothing going on there.
