Kevin Magnussen has described fighting with the 'best-of-the-rest' category in Formula One as "a bit dull".
Kevin Magnussen is the son of former Formula 1 driver Jan Magnussen, who also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times in the GT class. The youngest member of the Magnussen family made his Formula 1 debut in the 2014 season for McLaren. During his first race for the British team, Magnussen finished on the podium, becoming the first driver since Lewis Hamilton to end on the podium on his debut race. At the end of that year the Dane was relegated to reserve driver. Prior to the 2016 season, Magnussen left for Renault for a short adventure. From the 2017 season Magnussen has been driving for Haas, and it seems like he’s been growing as a driver with the team.
