Lando Norris failed to get any further than ninth place twice during the first two free practice sessions at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Englishman is still third in the World Championship, which gives him hope for the remainder of the weekend.
The young driver is making a big impression with his McLaren this season. Where his teammate Daniel Ricciardo can be found in eighth place with 50 points, Norris with 113 obtained more than double the points. With that number Norris remains ahead of Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas and Red Bull driver Sergio Pérez.

Norris stands out at Windsor

Peter Windsor thinks Norris is doing something remarkable, he said in his own YouTube video. "He does have quite long corners as we saw in austria from the overhead shots and you can really see it in Hungary. You can see it going into the last corner. It's only a small thing."
"As they come out of that left you really want to keep the car as straight as possible while they're accelerating," Windsor explained. "We know all that the minute you move a car to the left or the right whilst it's accelerating you're taking speed out of the engine. The longer you leave it the less you're going to drop."
