In the Hungarian Grand Prix from the 1986 season, Nelson Piquet carried out a feat which seemed unthinkable on Ayrton Senna, and it's one Max Verstappen 'can't wait to try.'
It was the 1986 Grand Prix of Hungary, Senna was struggling on old rubber in his Lotus 98T.
His fellow Brazilian, then two time world champion, Nelson Piquet, came darting past on the outside around Turn 1 in a maneuvre that is to this day regarded as one of the best overtakes in F1 modern history.
Touching on the move, Verstappen said to media like GPblog: "I've talked about it with him," the Dutchman revealed.

'Not sure if Piquet on Senna move would work out nowadays'

"I mean, I can give it a try this weekend if you want. On the outside with the drift," Verstappen jokingly added.
"Not sure it's going to work out the way it worked out back then. But maybe some cool pictures or videos come out of it."
Verstappen's verdict on his father in law's move on Senna? "It was a good move, that's for sure."
