Sebastian Vettel spoke in Japan about
Max Verstappen's dominance in
Formula 1. Vettel himself is familiar with dominance in the sport and mentioned
Verstappen in the same breath as
Michael Schumacher.
Verstappen does not care much about that and says each driver does it in his own way.
The Dutchman discussed this with the press in Japan. The two-time world champion was asked if he was a fan of Schumacher and if he gets inspiration from looking back at the German's dominant period in the early 2000s.
Verstappen:
"I was never really a fan of anyone, I just appreciated everyone's success and from my side I was like, ‘I want to be there one day, I want to stand on the podium or win races’."
