Max Verstappen travelled from the Netherlands to Germany on his private jet on Thursday evening, reaffirming suspicions that the four-time Formula 1 world champion will make his debut in the GT3 class at the Nürburgring Nordschleife this weekend.
Since his victory in the Italian Grand Prix last weekend, his third victory of the 2025 season, rumours have been flying around that the 27-year-old would make his debut in the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series in the GT3 class.
Now, the Dutchman has arrived in Germany, and all signs point to the rumours being true.

Verstappen back at the Nordschleife?

This weekend, the German racing class will compete at the circuit nicknamed 'The Green Hell'. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature a four-hour race on the 24-kilometre circuit, with the seventh and eighth races of the season scheduled to take place. 165 cars will start the race, which are divided into over twenty different classes.
Verstappen's private jet did not land close to the circuit in the German Eifel. The plane arrived at Stuttgart Airport, which is approximately 330 kilometres from the Nordschleife, as a result of there being hardly any major airports near the Nürburgring.
If Verstappen does take part in racing around the Nordschleife this weekend, it won't be for the first time this season after the four-time world champion visited the 'Green Hell' in May 2025.
The Dutchman took to the Nürburgring a few months ago in a Ferrari GT3 car, taking part in the NLS (Nürburgring Long Distance Series), breaking the lap record at the infamous circuit. However, Verstappen did so not under his own name, but under the alias 'Franz Hermann'.
For any nearby fans who want to see Verstappen in action at the Nürburgring Nordschleife for this weekend's action, there is good news, as tickets cost 25 euros per day.
