Max Verstappen has said his RB22 "just getting worse" after spinning once again in Qualifying at the Hungarian GP. Verstappen brought out a yellow flag late on at the Hungaroring due to a spin at the final corner, with the Dutchman only able to secure P6 in Budapest.
Speaking to media, including GPblog, Verstappen was asked to reflect on his weekend so far, with Red Bull noticeably falling behind rivals the more the action unfolded. The Dutchman was beaten by Antonelli and the two Ferrari and McLaren duos, including pole-sitter Lando Norris.
Verstappen said instead of tyres degrading, the RB22 itself has been "degrading" throughout the Hungary GP weekend. He said: "The weekend in general has been difficult but when instead of the tyres degrading, your car is degrading, then you have a big problem. So that's what's happening."
"The car just kept getting worse and worse, lap after lap. So the more laps I did, it was just more and more difficult to put a lap together. For tomorrow as well we need to fix that because the car is not drivable like this."

Referencing his last lap spin, Verstappen continued: "As you can see in the final corner, I mean, just turn in and the car is non-existent on the rear. So it's really crazy.
"But let's see where it's coming from now because I always feel like it's always a different problem. And that's where we learn also how to control."
Verstappen was then asked whether the spin had anything to do with the 'Macarena' rear wing making its return to the Hungaroring - having missed out in Belgium after a series of spins at Spielberg and Silverstone. The Dutchman responded: "I first need to look into the data myself. They could see loss in aero and it kept getting worse. So that's not good."
