Max Verstappen was not penalised during the Miami Grand Prix, but he still needs to watch what he does. The Dutch driver is currently on eight penalty points, making him the driver closest to facing a suspension in Formula 1.
None of the drivers above received penalty points on their FIA superlicenses. The only driver to gain a penalty point was Liam Lawson. Lawson received a five-second penalty for causing a collision with Fernando Alonso and a penalty point.
With that, Lawson becomes the driver with the second-highest number of penalty points after Verstappen, totaling 5 points on his record. Nico Hülkenberg, Oscar Piastri, and Jack Doohan each have four. Seven drivers have no penalty points to their names. They are Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Gabriel Bortoleto, Pierre Gasly, Isack Hadjar, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, and Yuki Tsunoda.
Both Ferrari drivers currently have no penalty points on their records.
