Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur has expressed his concern and "worry" about Ferrari's chances at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Last year, the Scuderia were able to claim a brilliant and emotional win thanks to Charles Leclerc's superb home win around the streets of the principality.
However, 2025 has been a very disappointing year so far for the Italian team. They have only been able to achieve one podium in the first seven races, alongside Lewis Hamilton's sprint race P1 in China and P3 in Miami.
At the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, qualifying was a huge worry with Monaco just around the corner, with Leclerc and Hamilton both being knocked out in Q2 as they could only set the 11th and 12th fastest times of the session.

With those major qualifying issues hanging over the heads of the prancing horse going into the Grand Prix weekend at Monte Carlo, team boss Vasseur admitted that there is some stress about what might happen.
"We are worried, because we are not able to do a better job than this weekend," the Frenchman said while in the paddock at Imola, speaking to several media outlets, including GPblog.
"For sure, the weekend will be much more difficult next week. Now, luckily, it's a different story in terms of our management, preparation and so on. We start from scratch, and step by step, we will catch up, we will understand the issue, and we will do a better job in the future," he continued.
The 56-year-old was then asked about what might happen with the Grand Prix now that it has the mandatory two-stop strategy in place.
"The two-stop strategy, I think we are under reaction, but for sure, last year, with the red flag at the beginning, Monaco was a bit strange," Vasseur explained.
"But, for me, it was very exciting, it was a very good weekend, very positive. But I can understand that for the fans, it was a bit harsh. We have to pay attention that if you have a safety car on lap 5, and in Monaco it's not impossible, everybody will pit, and with 20 cars to the pitlane in Monaco...," tailed off the Frenchman, worried about what might occur during those stops.
But even though there is some worry with the qualifying pace of the car, which is vital around Monaco, there is some optimism that Sunday's pace at Imola gives the Scuderia a blueprint for what they need to do, Vasseur believes.
"When I say this, it's not that we have to bring parts; it's that we have to understand how we can do better with what we have. Because with the same car, we are able to perform on Sunday, we need to do a better job with the car that we have on Saturday.
"I can understand that sometimes, for characteristics of the car, it can be plus or minus one-tenth, but in your case, it's more plus or minus than that. And then when you are in this situation, you create the frustration, you take more risk, you under-setup your driving, and it's a kind of negative spiral, it's not that bad to stay calm," Vasseur concluded.
