A positive Yuki Tsunoda believes that he has "gained real confidence" coming into the United States Grand Prix as things "start to come together".
"As things started to come together for myself and the Team, I found myself in a nice rhythm."
- Yuki Tsunoda on rediscovering his form
Since making the move to Red Bull after just two races of the 2025 season, the Japanese driver has struggled mightily at the Austrian team. However, at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Tsunoda grinded out a much-needed P6 for his best finish so far at the Austrian team.
The 25-year-old could only back that up with a 13th place at the Singapore Grand Prix, but there is still plenty of hope that the form that was rediscovered in Baku can be brought to the Circuit of The Americas.
“I’m looking forward to this week in Austin. It’s always a fun one, super busy off track, but enjoyable," Tsunoda said.

"I’ll relax with classic Texas BBQ at some point, but my full focus is on track and getting the most out of this weekend. Sprint weekends hold their own challenges, and it means that the work you do in the car on Friday really has to count.
"Since Baku, I feel like I've gained real confidence in the car, and as things started to come together for myself and the Team, I found myself in a nice rhythm.
"Singapore threw up battles of its own, but here in Austin, I am hoping that this circuit puts us back into the window where I was starting to get the best out of myself and the car.”

Talk of Tsunoda's future heats up

Tsunoda's P6 in Baku was a morale-boosting performance after scoring just nine points across 14 Grands Prix before that weekend. However, there has been plenty of talk about the future for the Japanese driver.
Formula E race winner Sam Bird believes that "it’s only a matter of time" before Tsunoda "vacates that seat" at the Austrian team, and that it is "just a matter of when, not if".
Sky Sports pundit and Williams ambassador Jamie Chadwick also believes that the 25-year-old's time at Red Bull could be up, while also claiming that another Red Bull driver might be dropped at the end of the campaign.
