Yuki Tsunoda once again faced early elimination in Singapore after a strong weekend in Baku two weeks ago.
"I couldn't understand what the limitation is."

While Max Verstappen will start from the first row of the grid, Tsunoda was eliminated in Q2.
After the session at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, the Japanese driver said: "I couldn't understand what the limitation is. Just generally lack of grip overall and that's the main thing.
"It's hard to say. Just unlucky [being] off grip overall and just struggled to bring it up."

In Azerbaijan, Tsunoda had a strong weekend, qualifying for Q3 and finishing sixth.
He continued: "Well, tomorrow (Sunday, ed.) is a new day for points. I need more points, that's what I'll do and I'll do my best.
"I'll do my best, so it's not easy, but I feel like my pace is a bit more... It's better than, like I said, it was before Azerbaijan still. So it's positive.
"It's a shame that I start [down the grid] after such a bad qualifying."

Verstappen on the front row, Marko positive about positive step forward

The defending world champion finished only behind pole sitter George Russell in Singapore.
Red Bull's external advisor, Helmut Marko, was positive about the result. Speaking to Sky Sports DE, he said:"We are competitive here, which is encouraging for the remaining races."
He added: "Of course, the starting position is crucial, but as long as we stay ahead of both McLarens, that is already a success."
