George Russell is also currently enjoying his holiday during the Formula 1 summer break. After the Hungarian Grand Prix, he revealed that he really needed to switch off.
Russell endured another difficult race last Sunday at the Hungaroring. The British driver dropped to the back of the field after only managing to limp off the line at the start.
Speaking to GPblog, among others, he said: "I mean, obviously the problems are happening, but the whole team feels it as well, like, they're as pissed off as I am with how it's unfolded.
"We need to look at ourselves and ensure it's nothing we're doing wrong that is contributing to these errors. Obviously, Oscar [Piastri] had his thing as well, it's not like we're the only one, but it does feel like it is happening substantially more to me than others."
Russell hopes he will have better luck during the second half of the season. He continued: "Hopefully, it swings around. I don't wish any bad luck on anyone, but I've never had a season like this in my whole career, let alone my F1 career."

Russell aims to stay positive

The Briton explained how he avoids becoming more frustrated: by focusing on the things he can control.
"Don't be disappointed with things outside of your control. The race was totally ruined. I did my procedure right at the start. Pace was fine. The result was s***. But the things that I could have controlled were just okay.
"I usually don't feel like I need a break this year. I definitely feel like I need one," he concluded.
Entering the summer break, Russell is sitting third in the drivers' standings in Formula 1. He is 59 points behind his young Mercedes teammate, Kimi Antonelli.
