'Red Bull has found something,' Isack Hadjar said in Miami, despite having a difficult weekend himself in the United States. Verstappen’s battle with the frontrunning teams was also encouraging for the Frenchman.
While Hadjar had a weekend to forget after his Sunday crash at the Miami Grand Prix, Verstappen was able to showcase Red Bull Racing’s improved pace. After qualifying on the front row and spinning at the start, he eventually finished fifth on an alternative strategy.
Speaking to GPblog, among others, after the race, the Frenchman said: "I couldn't put it together, I couldn't do what I wanted. I still felt faster than the last two weekends, for example. So if I do the job, put it together, you look at Max, what he's done yesterday, what he's doing now. Clearly the car made a step. I'm happy they found something."

Red Bull needs to address top speed issues according to Hadjar

While Lewis Hamilton discussed that Ferrari needs to reduce the SF-26's drag, Hadjar wants his team not to be stuck with the same issue that hurt him in terms of top speed last weekend.

He continued: "Montreal should be suiting us a bit better, let's say, but I expect something similar to this weekend." About the issue, he added: "It's very complicated. They've done a very good job through the week, fixing the issues. It was the worst on Friday and today I think we found something. At least they're moving in the right direction. We were not stuck with the same issue. But yeah, we need to make sure next weekend we get on with it and there's no margin for fine-tuning."
