With the fourth qualifying session of the
Formula 1 season now over, the balance of power between the drivers is beginning to take shape.
Max Verstappen and
Charles Leclerc, among others, are again dealing blows, but some drivers are actually catching up.
For example,
George Russell evens the score with Mercedes teammate
Lewis Hamilton, who confronted team boss Toto Wolff after Q2. Fernando Alonso also evens the standings with
Esteban Ocon.
Meanwhile, Verstappen extends his lead over
Sergio Perez. Leclerc does the same to
Carlos Sainz, who has not managed to qualify ahead of his teammate a single time this year. The same goes for
Daniel Ricciardo, who is losing out to
Lando Norris.
