Piastri reposted message about McLaren favouring Norris
The McLaren driver reposted a message on the platform in which Bernie Ecclestone criticised the British team. According to the former owner of
Formula 1, McLaren is favouring
Lando Norris because he is British. The Woking-based team would therefore also prefer to see the Briton become world champion, according to Ecclestone.
The social media post remained on Piastri’s page for quite some time. It has since been removed. According to the McLaren driver, the repost was not done intentionally.

The Australian qualified fifth for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Due to yellow flags, Piastri, like many other drivers, couldn’t complete a final flying lap. His teammate, Norris, is on pole position as Max Verstappen qualified P2.
After the session, several drivers had to report to the stewards.
George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli risked disqualification, but ultimately got away without issues. After the stewards’ ruling,
Carlos Sainz also received no penalty and may keep his third place.
