Full Qualifying Results - Las Vegas GP

Lando Norris stormed to pole position for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in a vitally important qualifying session, as Lewis Hamilton could only manage 20th.
The session was very difficult with the heavy rain, which then transitioned into a much drier track as Q3 rolled around.
Norris will start at the very front, ahead of reigning world champion Max Verstappen. Carlos Sainz performed admirably for Williams to take third on the grid.
Merceds driver George Russell drove to fourth on the grid for Mercedes as championship contender Oscar Piastri rounded out the top five.
Liam Lawson outqualified Racing Bulls teammate Isack Hadjar to take sixth. Fernando Alonso ended up in seventh place with Hadjar eighth.
Charles Leclerc could only manage ninth place for Ferrari as his teammate Lewis Hamilton was slowest in Q1.
Pierre Gasly also broke into the top 10 and will start the Grand Prix in 10th place for Alpine in Las Vegas.
Q2 was another chaotic session as championship contender Piastri just got through to Q3 in 10th place. The McLaren driver was more than a second off the pace. The bottom five saw Nico Hulkenberg and Lance Stroll fail to advance.
The Haas duo of Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman will start from 13th and 14th in Las Vegas as Franco Colapinto starts in P15.
The opening part of qualifying at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit saw the drivers get to grips with the very difficult conditions.
Multiple frontrunners didn't make it into Q2 as Hamilton and Yuki Tsunoda will start on the back row in 19th and 20th.

Mercedes' Andrea Kimi Antonelli is also starting at the back of the field in 17th place after a very difficult session in Las Vegas.
Plenty of drivers ran off the track, and Alex Albon hit the wall as he put the power down on the pit straight in the closing stages. Oliver Bearman also hit the barrier at Turn 14 in his Haas.
