Lando Norris' Las Vegas pole sparks massive online reactions

Lando Norris continued his charge towards the drivers’ championship with another pole position at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Here is how the internet reacted to the first-place start by the McLaren driver.
Norris, who entered the race weekend off the back of a dominant outing at the São Paulo Grand Prix, maintained that form under the Vegas lights. The 26-year-old stormed to pole ahead of Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen with a time of 1:47.934.
The British driver’s lap time was about three-tenths of a second clear of the field in the weather-affected qualifying session in Vegas. The pole position marked his seventh of the 2025 campaign and the 16th of his career so far, and here is how the internet reacted to his blistering pole lap.

Norris: Vegas qualifying 'really stressful'
Despite claiming pole position, Norris described his qualifying session as “really stressful.” The McLaren driver referred to the rain, which disrupted the already tricky Vegas track conditions, admitting it was far from ideal.
Norris, however, expressed delight with his performance around the street circuit. The British driver, who claimed pole for the third consecutive race, locked out the front row alongside Verstappen. Nearest championship contender and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri managed only fifth place, with Williams Racing driver, Carlos Sainz and Mercedes star, George Russell separating him from the front row.
