Following some strong performances in the past couple of races, Racing Point has moved up to the sixth position in the constructors' championship and the team are targeting to move up even further in the last couple of races.
Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll have managed to score in six of the last seven races to put them 18 points behind Renault.
"Brazil presents us with another good opportunity to score points. The car has been working well on a variety of different tracks and I am sure we can be just as competitive this weekend," Otmar Szafnauer told caranddriver.com.
"It is difficult to judge our performance in the last race in the US because it was compromised by several factors, but there is no doubt that we do not show our true potential.
"The point we scored in the United States helped us climb to sixth place in the championship and mathematically we can still aspire to fifth place There is a lot at stake and a lot to fight for, so we need to maximize the opportunities this weekend."
