Lewis Hamilton achieved his first Grand Slam as he started on pole, lead every single lap and produced the fastest lap of the race.
The Brit qualified on pole with a 1:59.431. Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull managed to split the Mercedes preventing a front row lockout.
Prior to the race, there was a moments silence in respect of MH370, the Malaysian Airlines aircraft which disappeared from flight radars over the Indian Ocean three weeks before the race.
Pastor Maldonado and Jules Bianchi made the first corner more exciting when the pair collided.
Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo all made it through safety and the order remained the same for almost all of the race.

Felipe Massa received a reminder of a message from 2012. This time out it was “Felipe, Valtteri is faster than you”.
Hamilton’s fastest lap was a 1:43.066 posted on lap 53.
Rosberg managed to come 2nd whilst Vettel completed the podium. Alonso was the highest placed Ferrari in 4th.
Lewis Hamilton has since produced 5 Grand Slams level with Alberto Ascari and Micheal Schumacher. Jim Clark has the most with 8.
