The crash in Austria between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris has been brushed aside by the drivers involved. McLaren CEO Zak Brown, however, once again expressed strong remarks about Red Bull Racing ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix. So what does Norris think of his boss's comments?
Brown frequently spoke out against the - in his view - unsportsmanlike behaviour of Verstappen's team, which would only encourage the Dutchman's "driving behaviour" instead of trying to keep him in check. Most recently, he claimed that he believes Red Bull are scared of Verstappen and does not dare tell him anything for that reason.

Norris responds to the statements by McLaren boss Brown

In Budapest, Norris answered GPblog's question about whether Brown's comments are starting to make him feel that Red Bull should be seen as an enemy. "No," Norris replies firmly, "We're competitors. We're competitors with every team. But you give and you take. When the other teams give it to you, you've got to give it back sometimes. I think you have to look at both parties."
In any case, Norris is certainly not an enemy of Verstappen, even after their clash in the Austrian Grand Prix. The day after the race, the two friends already made up. This weekend the McLaren driver will drive with a special helmet that is very reminiscent of Verstappen's trophy last year, which Norris broke.
