Lando Norris was angry with Max Verstappen in the opening stages of the Mexican Grand Prix. The Brit was pushed off track by Verstappen, calling Verstappen "dangerous". The stewards handed Verstappen with a ten-second penalty.
"I was ahead the whole way through the corner. This guy is dangerous. I just had to avoid a crash, it's the same as last time," Norris said over the team radio. This comes one week after the situation in the United States last weekend.
The two friends met early in the Mexican Grand Prix. Norris overtook Verstappen first, after which Verstappen made a last-ditch attempt to overtake Norris again. However, Verstappen ended up off the track with Norris. Norris immediately called Verstappen 'dangerous' on the team radio and stated that this was the same as last time. According to Norris, he had to avoid a crash. The stewards agreed with the Briton, who gave Verstappen a ten-second time penalty, much to Verstappen's dissatisfaction.
