Because of the coronavirus, 2020 is a slightly different season to say the least. The length of the calendar had to be shortened from 22 to 17 races. As a result of this and their dominance Mercedes are already on the verge of the Constructors' Championship.
Low probability of winning a title in Portugal
It would be a bizarre situation if Mercedes were to claim the title for the manufacturers in the twelfth round, but it is possible. The German race stable could be 220 points ahead of Red Bull Racing after the GP of Portugal.
At the moment Mercedes are already 180 points ahead of second place. With the maximum number of points for a team of 44, the 220 mark is achievable. That is on condition that Red Bull Racing do not scrape together more than three points in Portimao.
Chances of winning the title in Italy

If Mercedes want to win the title in Portugal, the team has to finish one-two. One-three might also be possible, however, it is not expected that Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon will score so few or no points.
A more realistic scenario is that Mercedes will take the title in the race at Imola. Then the team would 'only' have to have a lead of 176 points on second place to win. With this, Mercedes will then have won seven titles in a row and break Ferrari 's record.
