Helmut Marko does not understand at all the investigation that the Stewards have initiated about Max Verstappen, following an incident with Lewis Hamilton during the Grand Prix of Hungary. In a conversation with, among others, GPblog, the chief advisor to Red Bull Racing reacts to the investigation.

Marko responds to steward's investigation into Verstappen

Asked by GPblog what he thinks of the investigation into Verstappen and whether he saw any reason for it, Marko gives a clear answer: "No, I don't understand it."
Verstappen was making progress in the Hungarian Grand Prix, after an early pit stop set him far back in the field and he got stuck in traffic. Once he was in tenth place, he encountered an old acquaintance: Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari driver was in the vicinity of the top ten, much like Verstappen, after a disappointing qualification on Saturday.
At Turn four, Verstappen took an outside turn past Hamilton, but gave him little space. Hamilton had to deviate and ended up off the track. The incident was forwarded by the race direction to the stewards, where Verstappen and Hamilton have since reported to give an explanation. That conversation took place at 17:15.
