Helmut Marko is in a celebratory mood after the sprint race for the Brazil GP. The Red Bull advisor saw no fewer than four cars finish in the top nine, as apart from Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo also had a good day.
Max Verstappen missed out on the sprint pole in the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend, but the Dutchman immediately made up for it by taking the lead from Lando Norris at the start. Helmut Marko saw the Red Bull Racing driver control the sprint race from the start.

Marko happy with four cars in top nine

"It was clear he was going to try to catch Lando at the first corner," Marko told ServusTV. "He only started pushing harder towards the end, until then, it was a matter of tactical tyre management and managing the gap, so Lando didn't get into the DRS zone."
"Sergio made some nice overtaking runs, and Yuki drove a great race. Daniel only needed one more lap," Marko noted about the overtaking opportunities on Lewis Hamilton, whose tyres had all but failed. "All in all, with a total of four cars in the top nine, we can be very satisfied."
