Arvid Lindblad has opened up about the advice he received from the Racing Bulls leadership after securing his promotion to the F1 team for the 2026 season. “Things are going to be difficult.”

steps into the Racing Bulls team as a replacement for Isack Hadjar, detailed how the team’s bosses reminded him of the challenges ahead.
"The advice [from his bosses Alan Permane and Peter Bayer] has been that things are going to be difficult. I shouldn't be naive," he said via
Formula 1.
The young British driver also acknowledged the magnitude of the step up to
Formula 1 and expressed his readiness to face it.
“I'm very aware of the fact that it will be a big challenge. It will be a really big step up. There's a lot of work I have to do over the coming months prior to Barcelona,” he admitted.

However, despite the anticipated difficulties, Lindblad remains optimistic about the learning opportunities ahead, both for himself and the team.
"But even then, during all the tests and the first part of the season, there's going to be a lot for me to learn to get up to speed on. On the team side, there will be that as well, because so much will be new. We're all going to have to learn and develop together,” he concluded.

Formula 1 after a standout Formula 2 season that saw him etch his name into history as one of the youngest race winners in the sport. The 18-year-old will team up with
Liam Lawson at
Racing Bulls in the upcoming campaign.
