Lammers hopes lack of Zandvoort data will make drivers "hungry"

There's under five months to go until the return of Zandvoort and the Dutch Grand Prix. Jan Lammers hopes that the lack of data the teams have on the track will make the drivers go into the first practice "hungry".

Max Verstappen's first home race will take place on Sunday, May 5th and it will open the European leg of the season, which runs up until the mid-season break. Zandvoort will play host to the Dutch Grand Prix for the first time since 1985.

Former F1 driver Lammers hopes that the drivers will go into Friday with the bit between their teeth.

"Jarno, of course, has all that data. But Formula 1 teams nowadays consist of half scientists," Lammers told Motorsport.com.
