Following his departure from Williams, it looks as if Robert Kubica might have raced in F1 for the last time despite signing as a reserve driver for Alfa Romeo. However, even the Pole has admitted he could we have raced in Formula 1 for the last time.
Kubica made a fairytale return to the pinnacle of motorsport but it quickly turned sour with Williams as the constructor were way off the pace of the rest of the field. He left Williams and was replaced by Nicholas Latifi but he signed for Alfa Romeo as their reserve driver.
Despite having another opportunity with Alfa, Kubica is honest in his assessment of getting back into the cockpit for a Grand Prix.
Kubica told Przeglad Sportowy that he is well aware he might not get another chance but added: "It is possible."But it is also a very possible scenario that the race in Abu Dhabi was my last in F1.
"Formula 1 is Formula 1.
