Jack Aitken re-signs for Campos Racing

It has been a busy day for Williams with their car launch and now Jack Aitken, a test driver for the F1 constructor has re-signed with Campos Racing in Formula 2.

In his two seasons in Formula 2 he has finished 11th and 5th whilst being a reserve driver for Renault. He left Renault in the off season and signed for Williams where he was confirmed to be a test driver for 2019's bottom-placed constructor.

During both of his Formula 2 seasons, he has raced for Campos Racing and now he is set for a third stint with the team in 2020.

"Last year we were fifth in the championship but we were challenging for wins and the championship throughout the whole season, so that's what we need to try and do again: build the season as a whole and make progress step by step," said Aitken as quoted by Autosport.
