Italian GP grid shaken up ahead of race as driver set to start from pit lane

The French driver had finished qualifying yesterday in nineteenth, second-to-last, just behind his teammate Franco Colapinto and only ahead of Liam Lawson’s Racing Bull.

''Pierre will start today's Italian Grand Prix from the Pit Lane after the team took his car out from parc fermé conditions. Car #10 will take a new Power Unit for today's Race,'' the team communicated in an official statement.

Speaking with GPblog after qualifying, the Frenchman commented his result: ''To be fair I think it was still good effort. We were really struggling and we closed the gap to the guys ahead.''

In Monza, Verstappen claimed the pole position, securing another significant result for Red Bull, as McLaren and Ferrari will be on the hunt of the four-time world champion. Hamilton also got hit with a five place grid penalty. Here's the complete and updated starting grid.
