The 'Orange Army' planning to travel to Spielberg can now be at ease: Max Verstappen will be able to compete at the Austrian GP after not receiving a penalty point in Canada.
Max Verstappen was on the edge of getting suspended, being just a single penalty point away from a race ban in Montreal.
Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull Racing, is also happy to see the Dutchman participate at the team's home Grand Prix.
After the Canadian GP, the Briton said: "It's an important event. It's always a popular event and it will be great to be back in Austria, especially with Max, who has so many fans there."
More importantly, after the weekend in Spielberg, two penalty points will come off the board for the defending world champion as well.

At the Red Bull Ring, it will be important for the Austrian squad to secure a good result. The previous campaign, after Verstappen and Norris collided, it was George Russell who could claim the victory.
However, Horner explained it will not be an easy one for his team. "I think Austria, probably our weakness at the moment is in the medium-speed type of corner and I think that Austria, that middle sector is there's a bit of medium speed there."
After McLaren failed to finish on the podium at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the team principal also sees them being towards the front. "We'll see I would expect if it's hot McLaren to again be stronger," he concluded.
