Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen's record run came to an end at the Singapore Grand Prix. The RB19 was not suited to the Marina Bay Street Circuit, meaning Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez did not finish high. Christian Horner explains, among other things, how the weekend went for the Dutchman.
"It's been a tough weekend for him, and he's kept his head and kept his composure. He raced really hard today and fought all the way to that chequered flag," the British team boss told Viaplay. "It's been a tough weekend, but it's the end of a really successful run for the team, and now we have to try and start it all again next weekend," Horner continued.

Horner on Red Bull talent Lawson

One bright spot in the Red Bull family was Liam Lawson. He managed to add two points for AlphaTauri. " Super job," Horner said of the New Zealander. "I think he really did a great job in that car. I think he raced hard, and I think everybody in Red Bull Racing was very impressed with what he's done. He's making a very strong case for himself," the Red Bull team boss concluded.
Red Bull Racing could have already become the constructors' champion at the weekend in Singapore but had to postpone that celebration for a while this weekend. At the Suzuka Circuit in Japan, they have another chance.
