Not only Formula 1 cars, but a power unit is also set to have launch events ahead of the 2026 season.
The Honda power unit will be unveiled in Tokyo, Honda Racing F1 posted on social media. The event will take place on 20 January in the Japanese capital.
After many successful years together, the Japanese brand's collaboration ends with Red Bull Racing as the sport enters the upcoming regulation change. The Austrian team will create an in-house engine working together with Ford, while Honda will supply Aston Martin with power units starting in 2026.
Aston Martin also has a launch date set for its challenger for the 2026 season. The car designed by Adrian Newey will be unveiled on 9 February, days after the conclusion of pre-season testing in Barcelona.

Alonso highlights the positives of the Aston Martin project

The two-time world champion is relaxed ahead of the next regulation change.
He told GPblog in Abu Dhabi: “We switched focus in April, more or less, and I'm optimistic because it's a reset of things. Everyone has the chance to do a better job than the others. We start from scratch, so that's one thing that always offers hope."
He added: "We have our new facilities completed now. We have our own wind tunnel. We have Honda as our engine supplier, and only for us. Aramco, Adrian Newey, we have some good things to be optimistic about. But this is a very competitive sport, and everyone is doing a very good job. We'll see."
