Lewis Hamilton will headline the first FIA Press Conference of the season in Melbourne.
The Formula 1 grid travels to Australia for the season-opening round of the 2026 championship. As per usual, four press conferences will take place over the course of the weekend, including the drivers' press conference on Thursday and the team representatives' press conference on Friday, and two for the top three finishers on Saturday and Sunday.
On Thursday, a total of six drivers will be present. Group one will feature George Russell, Nico Hulkenberg, and Valtteri Bottas, who already has a five-place grid penalty for the upcoming Grand Prix.
Group two will feature seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, home favorite Oscar Piastri, and rookie Arvid Lindblad. The rest of the drivers will have regular press moments in the paddock, where GPblog will also be present.
The team bosses' press conference will then take place between FP1 and FP2. Adrian Newey, Toto Wolff and Graeme Lowdon will represent their teams in the first session.
