Lewis Hamilton looks back on his career in Formula 1 with a good feeling. The Brit managed to bag no fewer than seven world titles, putting him on a par with Michael Schumacher. However, Hamilton realises that there are more important things than achieving successes.
Although his final years in Formula 1 are coming up for the Mercedes driver, Hamilton is far from ending his career. Instead, he stressed to Formula1.com that he hopes he can still achieve a lot of great things with Mercedes.

Hamilton looks back on Mercedes successes

He has been consistently competing for the world title since 2014, but that is a different story this year. Max Verstappen is fast on his way to winning the world title gloriously, making Hamilton realise even more how fine the successes were. In doing so, he pays a big compliment to those within Mercedes.
"Of course, the idea that no driver in history has ever gone past seven, you want to try and accomplish that. But I guess – as you get older – you realise the journey is the most important part," Hamilton said.
