Hamilton's dog has an incredible following of his own with an Instagram account building up over a million followers. Roscoe also appeared briefly in the F1 Movie.
The Ferrari driver explained in Singapore that he hasn't quite been able to reply to every message and is grateful for the support.
He said: "[I received] lots of messages. Quite overwhelming to be honest to see just how many people Roscoe touched around the world. And really heartwarming to receive.
"I've not been able to reply to everybody, but he was the most important thing in my life, so it was a very difficult experience."

Roscoe was often seen at Formula 1 race weekends with Hamilton in the paddock and on social media.
Hamilton added that he is eagerly anticipating the Singapore Grand Prix, a track he's won at on four occasions.
"I know so many people in the world have gone through it and know what it's like to have a pet that gives you such amazing love, and it's an amazing experience.
"But, I'm really just looking forward to now just getting back in the car and doing what I love doing here."

The former Top Gear presenter commented on one of Hamilton's posts: "Really sorry to hear that. It's hell."
