Hamilton emphasises the physical challenges drivers face in Barcelona

Prior to qualifying, it was expected that Mercedes would be at the front of the grid and during qualifying, for the Spanish Grand Prix it became clear that this was the case. Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will be on the first row of the grid tomorrow, with Hamilton starting from pole position. The Briton was happy with how qualifying went.
"Physically it's tough," Lewis Hamilton said after qualifying.
"It's the fastest we've ever been round here so the forces through your body are pretty intense. Then you're just trying to manage the tyres on your laps.
"The first lap was decent, which did the job thankfully. I was here with the guys until 10pm last night just looking through the details, and seeing where we can get better for the race. These Red Bulls are super fast."
