AlphaTauri driver Pierre Gasly regrets the news that Honda is leaving Formula 1. After achieving both a win and a second place while working together with Honda, he hopes to achieve even more victories before they leave the sport.

Disappointed

In an interview with Formula1.com, Gasly expresses his disappointment with Honda's departure from Formula 1. "I'm sorry that they are leaving, after all our experiences together over the last few years. Honda has always played an important role in my career, and I have always enjoyed working with them".
However, he remains hopeful for the coming season. "I hope we can fight for more victories, and that Honda can compete for next year's constructors' title."
Gasly's teammate Daniil Kvyat said he was surprised by the news of Honda's departure, especially with the good results they've achieved lately. "I'm sorry because I enjoy working with them. In addition, they have worked very hard to give us the best possible power units, and to achieve good results," Kvyat said. He continues: "The Honda guys at the track are very committed, and I'm sure they will push as much as ever while they're still here."
