Oscar Piastri rumoured to be eyeing a move to Ferrari, and Max Verstappen reveals what George Russell is one of the best at in F1! Recap the best news of the day with GPblog!

'Piastri eyeing a Ferrari move'

Piastri is leading the Formula 1 world championship with six rounds to go, holding a 22-point advantage over teammate Lando Norris.
The Australian driver has been ice-cool under pressure for much of the year, but crashed on the opening lap in Azerbaijan. He also finished fourth in Singapore, behind Norris, as the pair collided on lap one.
As Piastri still holds a lead in the world championship, Swiss newspaper Blick has reported that the McLaren driver is considering a switch to Ferrari.
This news comes after the Singapore Grand Prix, where the two McLaren drivers made contact on Lap 1 with Piastri announcing his frustration at McLaren's failure to swap places with Lando Norris, who forced the Australian to go wide and yield position.

Verstappen shares what Russell is one of the best at in Formula 1

After sharing the front row in Singapore, Russell and Verstappen crossed the finish line in first and second place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Together with F1, drrivers such as Russell, Fernando Alonso and reigning champion Verstappen all enjoy practicing a different sport: padel.
Verstappen explained in a video by Hypebeast that he plays with his Red Bull teammate Yuki Tsunoda, and also shared who the best players are.
He said: "Yes, I play with Yuki, and as teammates as well, and we enjoy it. I enjoy playing padel.
"I started probably like two years ago, with no like history of even like playing tennis or any other kind of racket sport.
"So it took a bit of time to get up to speed, but it's getting better. Let's say it like that.I'm pretty sure that Carlos [Sainz] and Pierre [Gasly] are probably the best padel players.
"Plus, I think like George [Russell], I know that he plays quite often as well. They're good."
Is Verstappen also considering a switch? This brand seems to be in the picture. Read our exclusive article here!
