Warning shot to McLaren about Verstappen fired by Hamilton

Max Verstappen's return to form has brought him right back into the title fight discussion, with the four-time world champion now just 69 points away from championship leader Oscar Piastri.
After consecutive wins at the Italian and Azerbaijan Grands Prix, Verstappen has marched back to the front of the grid, while McLaren had an uncharacteristic weekend full of inconsistency.
As a result, Lewis Hamilton has warned his former team that Verstappen and Red Bull cannot be discounted, saying that he "expects [Red Bull] are probably going to win all races."

'Horner wants to get back to F1 ASAP and eyes this role'

Christian Horner's official departure from Red Bull Racing was announced on Monday, meaning the former team boss is free to take his talents elsewhere.
Rumours have been circulating as to where the Brit will end up next, and there has been plenty of talk about whether a move away from the premier class of motorsport will occur.
However, Horner's intentions look to be staying in the world of F1, although GPblog can confirm that reports of the Brit eyeing a potential acquisition of shares at Haas are false.

Wolff comments on 2026 lineup again

Once again, yet more talk has stemmed from the lack of contract signing at Mercedes.
George Russell is still without a deal at the German team, with his current contract running out at the end of the 2025 season.
Although there has been verbal confirmation from Wolff about the Brit being a part of Mercedes for 2026, the Austrian CEO and team boss gave an ominous reply by stating that contract signings "have to be before tests, otherwise we have to put someone else in the car."
