Lewis Hamilton offered advice to Oscar Piastri amid his pursuit of a world championship, and Ralf Schumacher has suggested George Russell would not want Toto Wolff as an advisor on his F1 career anymore. Let's take a look at the latest happenings around Formula 1 today.

Hamilton offers advice to Piastri

Lewis Hamilton was asked what advice he would offer to Oscar Piastri as the Formula 1 drivers’ title fight heats up with teammate Lando Norris and Max Verstappen.
Piastri witnessed his lead to the chasing pack further reduced after finishing outside the podium at the Singapore Grand Prix. Hamilton, however, offered brief advice to the Australian driver, stressing the importance of not losing additional positions while racing.
Piastri, who is in pursuit of his maiden F1 title, was left fuming for a large part of the race under the Marina Bay sky after he and McLaren teammate Norris collided during the opening lap of the Grand Prix.

Russell does not want Wolff as an advisor

Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher has suggested that George Russell may no longer want Toto Wolff to act as an advisor in his F1 career.
The 50-year-old, speaking on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast, hinted that recent contract negotiations between the pair could be at the heart of Russell's discomfort.
Schumacher indicated that those negotiations may have led Russell to prefer Wolff stepping back from his management role – possibly due to the Austrian’s very public flirtations with the possibility of signing Red Bull Racing driver, Max Verstappen.
