Following his first flying lap on soft tyres in FP2, Lewis Hamilton was not satisfied with his time. When talking over what happened with his race engineer 'Bono', Peter Bonnington, the Briton could hear an odd noise in his cockpit through the radio. After 30 minutes however, Hamilton is in first place in FP2.
Following his first flying lap on soft tyres, Hamilton found himself behind the two McLaren drivers and Charles Leclerc who completed his lap on the mediums. After the seven-time world champion said "There's no one out here mate, I've got no tow," Bono got back to the British driver saying he could also improve in Turns 1 and 2.
During Bonnington's message however, a weird noice could be heard in the background. "I can hear someone laughing in the background," the Mercedes driver pointed out.

Something loose in Russell's seat

George Russell had to miss the first 22 minutes of the session because of Andrea Kimi Antonelli's crash in FP1. After Mercedes prepared the Briton's car, the two time GP winner reported something was loose in his cockpit too. "I think it's a nut, which is just gone into my seat. Which I think is OK," Russell reported.

Later on, both Mercedes drivers also confirmed they have problems with their seats. "Seat is so hot," Hamilton first said. Then Russell also confirmed the same issue: "My seat feels very hot."
