Fisichella, who spoke to a betting site about Horner, touched on how he expects the British motorsport chief to make a return to F1 soon. The former F1 driver sees a possible partnership working well between Horner and Alpine's Flavio Briatore.
"I think Horner can come back to F1. He was a driver first and foremost, and then he served as Red Bull's team principal for 20 years, during which time he won everything. For sure, one of the best team principals in the sport."

Horner saw his over two-decade-long stint in Formula 1 brought to an abrupt end following his dismissal from the Red Bull Racing team. The 51-year-old, who had served as team principal of the F1 outfit since 2005, was replaced days after the British Grand Prix by Laurent Mekies.
Horner has since been linked with several Formula 1 outfits. The Briton also formally left the Austrians, receiving a payout from the Milton Keynes-based team.

Guenther Steiner rules out Alpine move for Horner

Earlier, Guenther Steiner suggested that a move to Alpine for Christian Horner would be unlikely. The former Haas team principal stressed that the power dynamic between Horner and current team boss Flavio Briatore could prove problematic.
The 60-year-old also outlined the capacity in which he sees the former Red Bull chief returning to motorsport. Steiner suggested Horner could consider venturing into ownership of a Formula 1 team.
