Ferrari set their sights on redemption in Singapore after a disappointing team result in Baku two weeks ago.
“Qualifying will once again play a decisive role, and we will need to make the most of every session to try and secure the best possible starting positions”
- Frederic Vasseur
Speaking on the eve of the Singapore GP, team principal Frédéric Vasseur said: “Singapore is always one of the most demanding races of the year, for the drivers and for the whole team on the pit wall and in the garage.
"The layout of the track, the night-time conditions, and the likely appearance of the Safety Car all combine to make this Grand Prix a real test of concentration and adaptability.
This year, the FIA has raised the pit lane speed limit from 60 to 80 km/h — a significant factor on a narrow pit lane like Singapore’s, and one that Vasseur was quick to highlight.

“This year there is also the added variable of a higher pit lane speed limit, which could influence the strategic choices. As on most street circuits, Qualifying will once again play a decisive role, and we will need to make the most of every session to try and secure the best possible starting positions.
Finally, the Frenchman set the target for the weekend: “Once again, the aim going into the weekend will be to maximise the potential, as we have seen in the past few rounds that small details can make a big difference when it comes to the points you bring home.”

Hamilton's first F1 weekend without Roscoe

A few days ago, the seven-time world champion chose to skip testing at Mugello and Milan Fashion Week to remain at the bedside of his beloved dog Roscoe, who had fallen into a coma following severe health complications after contracting pneumonia.
After days of suffering, Hamilton made the heartbreaking decision to put his pet to sleep. The Briton shared the news on social media, receiving an outpouring of support not only from his fans but from the entire paddock, which rallied around him in his grief.
